Extend Time is the time frame of which the system will automatically added time to the auction duration if a bidder bid within this time frame. For an example: If Extend time is 5 minutes, then if bidder A placed a bid at 4:20; the system now add 4 minutes and 20 seconds to the remaining time. It’s now 9 minutes and 20 seconds. If bidder B placed 5:01, then the remaining time is still 5:01. Only added time if it’s less than 5 minutes so that others have a chance to bid on.
